Shimon has long been a name synonymous with quality Drum & Bass, from his early tracks for Ram Records to his later collaborations with Sparfunk and Matrix - this man has done it all! So it was no surprise when he set up his very own label to release not only his own productions but to highlight and bring through new artists. Here for the 5th release, we are offered a quality selection of treats from the bouncy euro-funk stylings of new signings' Dirtyphonics or the Tali assisted 'The Secret', to Shimon's own 'Lightspeed' - where he teams up with Austrian producer, DJ Disaszt for a futuristic beats & bass tear out that is reminiscent of his old Ram days, which leads nicely to the amazing 'Asylum', produced by Shimon, Ant Miles and Andy C under their Ram Trilogy moniker and keeps to the bubbling, sci-fi sound that they were famous for all those years ago. Essential!
